Prasad has over fifteen years of experience in enterprise architecture, product planning, design and development of Information Technology projects. He is a well rounded software architect with business analysis, and hands-on custom software development and integration skills. He has developed roadmaps to migrate legacy architecture to SOA architecture for scalability, failover, reliability, and high availability within and across data centers. He has considerable expertise in architecting and implementing Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) technologies for integrating SOA services and legacy systems with multi protocols and integration patterns. He is also experienced in implementing in-memory, rule based complex event processing (CEPs) for real time monitoring aligned for next generation cloud environment. He has considerable experience in managing event driven services with enterprise messaging systems such as TIBCO EMS, IBM MQ, and Oracle AQ technologies. He has architected, designed and implemented secure systems use of Public Key Infrastructure technologies. He also leads vendor evaluations and proof-of-concept design and implementation efforts for multiple products including content management, portals, identity management, workflow engines, and business rule engines. He has established best practices for the architecture, design, development and quality assurance processes. He has also designed and implemented enterprise web security solutions using LDAP, and Identity management solutions. He performs technical due diligence of information systems for company mergers and acquisitions and acts as a technical advisor to Chief Information Officers (CIOs)

IT Strategy and Business Alignment

Pal has over 14 years of professional experience in both public and private sectors.  Over these years, he has been collaborating with senior executives and CXOs to develop and implement strategies that foster business/IT alignment and improve operational effectiveness and business performance.  He was a senior practitioner in the Booz Allen's IT Strategy and Enterprise Architecture practice concentrating on Enterprise IT Strategy, EA, Segment Architecture, IT Governance, and Business/IT alignment areas.  He has deep expertise in project/program management, business transformation, process reengineering/optimization and systems development.  He has supported numerous CXO's and Chief Architects at various Federal agencies, including the Office of Personnel Management, Internal Revenue Service, General Services Administration, National Science Foundation, Department of Veterans Affairs, Department of Education, Department of Commerce, Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services and the Department of Energy. He has led the Segment Architecture (Business Line Architecture) capability area and developed delivery models to shape the architecture market in the Federal Civilian market space.  This includes speaking/training engagements on Segment Architecture and EA at multiple venues including the Potomac Forum training series on FSAM/Segment Architecture.
